Our client is an international company based in Rotterdam, with headquarters in Japan. They are the world’s leading manufacturer of automotive components. Due to continued growth, they are currently looking for a Customer Service Support professional to support customers across Europe.

Some office work experience (including internships) is preferred; however, if you do not yet have relevant experience, you will be trained on the job. Working in a small, international team in Rotterdam, and using English and Japanese (where applicable), you will collaborate globally.

Job Description

  • Handling customer orders
  • Confirming receipt of customer sales orders and performing order entry tasks
  • Confirming deliveries with customers
  • Providing weekly delivery updates to customers using Excel
  • Communicating with the warehouse to ensure smooth customer collections
  • Assisting with accounting tasks, such as issuing invoices, entering supplier invoices, and following up on payments
  • Supporting the Director and assisting with other customer service and general office duties as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (HBO level) or equivalent (preferred)
  • Valid work permit for the Netherlands
  • Living in Rotterdam or the surrounding area
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Intermediate Japanese language skills (if applicable)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook)
  • Previous data entry or administrative experience is an advantage
  • Strong organisational and communication skills; able to multitask
  • High attention to detail with an analytical and logical approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a small team
