Our client, a global logistics company headquartered in Japan, is seeking a Contract Logistics (CL) Operator. In this role, you will also be responsible for customer service operations related to Contract Logistics (CL) at the Rotterdam office. As part of the CL team, you will manage operational coordination and customer communication for your own accounts. If you have a few years of experience in logistics, ideally in Contract Logistics, this is a great opportunity to work in an international environment.
Job Description:
- Respond to inquiries from CL customers
- Coordinate internally regarding inbound and outbound operations
- Liaise with the warehouse operations team
- Manage customer communication and coordination
Requirements:
- Valid Dutch work visa
- Based in or near the Rotterdam area
- Ability to communicate effectively in English in a business environment
- Japanese language skills are a plus
- Experience in the Contract Logistics (CL) industry (administrative and/or operational roles)
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Flexibility in handling operational tasks, including customer interaction
- Proactive and self-motivated
Preferred:
- Experience in customer service roles
- Overseas work experience
Working Conditions:
- Full-time, on-site position
- Working hours: 08:30–17:00
